Technical Services Manager
This position manages a team of professional technical consultants serving PDI customers in the convenience retail and petroleum distribution industries.
The team generates revenue for PDI by providing customers with assistance and support in the following areas: servers, PCs, SQL databases, terminal services, various network devices and peripherals, operating systems, and other systems and equipment. The team also manages and maintains a data center, providing paid PDI-systems hosting and management as well as remote monitoring system service to customers preferring additional system oversight. The manager is responsible for team direction, leadership, sales of services, development of service initiatives, customer project coordination with other PDI consultants, team financial results, follow-up and coordination of open service calls or tickets, and department administration. Technical Writer / Instructional Designer
Writes software manuals, release notes, and installation instructions that support company technical products. Tests software and corresponding documentation. Works with SMEs to develop checklists, implementation guides, and instructional materials for a wide range of topics, such as accounting, inventory management, business intelligence/analysis, consignment, retail store management, etc. Manages diverse projects with strong interpersonal skills, dedication to quality and accuracy, ability to evaluate conflicting priorities, and commitment to deadlines.
